Sake 101 class with Tona Palomino. February 11th 6-8 p.m.

  • Binny's Lincoln Park 1720 n marcey street Chicago (map)

You know you have a bunch of questions about sake:

- What the is sake anyway?

- Is it sweet?

- How do you drink it?

- How do you pick one?

- What are all those terms?

- Hot?

- Cold?

- Cloudy?

- Is it only for sushi? What about Ramen? What about tacos?

So, come get some answers and some great sake with us on February 11th from 6-8pm.  Over the course of an hour and a half, Tenzing Sake Expert, Tona Palomino will walk you through the basics you need to know to navigate the sake aisle (or sake menu) comfortably - styles, production, flavor profiles, terms.  Along with a few food pairings.  It is designed for beginners, but there's plenty of information for more seasoned fans, so come one come all!

The course is $15 without a Binnys card and $10 with a Binnys card.  Please call the Lincoln Park Binnys to reserve your spot.  (312) 664-4394.
